Wingfoiling lessons
Wingfoiling is taking the world by storm, and the sport has now reached a point where it’s more accessible than ever to beginners.
The team here at Wet ’N’ Dry boardsports have been involved since the sport’s inception, and are regularly found on Essex waters pushing their limits, continuing to improve. We all agree than Wingfoiling is one of the easier windsports that we’ve taken part in, despite how difficult it looks. We are excited to now be able to offer beginners tuition to anyone interested in getting involved with this new and exciting water sport.
At our spacious location on the River Crouch, Essex, we’ll get you started by first practicing with the wing on a paddle board, before graduating to a foil once the basics are down. We use a range of high quality equipment on all of our lessons from the brands we sell day-to-day.
Beginners Wing’SUP’ Lesson – 3 hours
1-2-1 – £160
2-2-1 – £120
This lesson is the starting point for most people, those who haven’t participated in a wind sport previously. This involves some theory covering wind, tide, equipment and land drills, before then heading out on a SUP board and putting your skills into practice. We use BB Talkin’ headset comms during our lessons so you’ll be receiving constant feedback from your instructor. Once you’re comfortable riding back and forth we’ll start to explore gybing and introduce upwind/downwind sailing. Once this is covered it’s time to progress to the foil in your next lesson.
