Wet’n’Dry Race – Norfolk Classic
Wet’n’Dry Race – Norfolk Classic
This years Stand up Paddle Race series have seen some great results from team Wet’n’Dry and the Norfolk Broads Classic was no exception. Team Wet’n’Dry had a 8 strong team covering majoirty of the board classes and race distances. There was two race distances, a 15-16km and a 6km race, and team Wet’n’Dry did not disappiont in either of these classes.
The Norfolk Broads Classic is alittle differnt from other races on the series as it is not in a circuit format, instead the competetors are shipped up river and then paddle back to the rowing club. The directional format gives racers a chance to race in all sort of conditions. The race started with a head wind, then a side wind and then a tail wind, so all wind direction had to be battled with, creating an excited and challanging race.
Out of the 8 strong team, Wet’n’Dry SUP came away with two 1st place trophies and a 3rd. Yet another successful race event for team Wet’n’Dry.
